Above Innovation Pillar IV implements research for soil health, which means not only focusing of productivity but rather preserving the continued capacity of the soil to function as a vital living system. Soil health guarantees the sustainment of biological productivity, the maintenance of the quality of air and water environments, and the promotion of plant, animal and human health. In our research project we aim at designing together with organic farmers reliable, efficient and affordable soil analysis techniques.
